Hey my name is Jack Wilson and I am the new marketing intern for FoG and I am excited to be joining the family here at FoG. I am a recent graduate from Christian Brothers Academy HS in New Jersey where I played goalie and I am heading off to Sacred Heart University next fall to study marketing. I found out about Fields of Growth because I went to the same high school as Kevin Dugan, our founder. I decided to help out because I love the work that FoG is doing not only because they are spreading the game of lacrosse, a game I hold near and dear to my heart, to Uganda and Jamaica but also because of the service work they do in those countries off the field. Service to the community and also helping to coach lacrosse is something that has been apart of who I am all my life, so naturally I joined the one organization that combines both.
I will be coordinating all of our social media efforts so be sure to follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, check out all our photos on flickr and make sure that you follow us on Instagram, which we just recently set up this week. I encourage anyone that is going on an Lacrosse Volunteer Corps trip or already has either this year or in the past to tag us in social media when talking about your experience or sharing photos from your journey. You never know, there’s a very good chance you will get a retweet or shoutout from us for your efforts, but you have to tag us and let us know!
